As Kenyans watch English Premier League football and cheer their respective teams, Jubilee gov't is busy stealing their taxes. Very tragic!!

In my previous post about Nadia and Wamishale, I talked of lying low as a man and submitting, halafu watu mnanikujia na hasira😁😁. YOU CANNOT EXPECT SOME WOMEN TO SUBMIT. Take for instance Mwalimu Rachel. She has a good career. She foots her own bills unless the partner wants to help. She just bought herself a Mercedes Benz na sio ya loan. She can take herself to Zanzibar or Dubai anytime she wants. She has invested and knows when and how to make herself happy without a man. ATI SASA UNATAKA AKUJE KWAKO HALAFU ANYENYEKEE??? Ati wewe ukae kwa sitting room yeye akipika jikoni?? 🤣🤣 Mko na mchezo sana. HOW CAN GLADYS BOSS SHOLLEI submit to a man???? If you move closer to Gladys Boss, she commands some respect. She has everything a man can give her except a MSOLONG. How can you marry her halafu unakaa kwa kiti unasoma gazeti ati akuletee CHAKULA???? SHE WILL SIT THERE AS YOUR EQUAL AND EMPLOY A PERSON TO DO IT. Even some of these accomplished women like Esther Musila and Betty Kyalo can't submit. You can just see that Esther Musila is in control of her marriage. She doesn't need to say it. WE CAN SEE IT. Although she acts as a humble wife to Guardian Angel, you can feel her POWER AND CONTROL. She is a no-nonsense woman who can't easily bend. Kale kakijana ka Betty Kyalo unaweza ona tu hakawezi kuwa kabwana ka Betty. Betty commands that relationship. Betty can look humble for the camera, but she has POWER. Submission should be a voluntary honour. She should voluntarily RESPECT YOU as a leader of the household. And to get that respect, YOU MUS BE BETTER THAN HER IN ALL ASPECTS. If she earns 100K, make sure you earn even 300K or above. If she has a diploma, get yourself a degree. If she has a degree, get yourself a masters. YOU ARE NOT COMPETING WITH HER. You are creating an environment where she will automatically bend and listen to you as a man who thinks better than her and has more resources than her. Even other men will submit to you if you have more money and resources, including your ability to solve problems. Lakini wewe unaenda kuchukua MILLIE ODHIAMBO ati akuje kwako kwa one bedroom ati akupikie omena kwa gas ya 6KG. And you want her to submit to you? Or you take Caroline Mutoko to your bedsitter yenye hujalipa tokens. And you demand that such a powerful woman respects you just because you have SPAAMS to pour in her COOCHIE?? Let's be reasonable. Mwanamke akiwa na pesa vizuri, and she can think well and solve problems better than you, WACHA KIBURI. Rudi chini. Sio ati wewe ni MJINGA. No. Recognise her ability and lie low. Ukibeba kichwa hawezi kaa hapo. Hata wewe ukikatia ANNE WAIGURU utapeleka KIBURI hapo ati SHE MUST SUBMIT TO YOU?? Ati sasa unataka AKOTHEE akuje kwenye bado unalipa rent, and she submits??😂😂

I told my husband I wanted out of our marriage because I had fallen in love with someone else. He didn’t argue. He only asked me for one final favor before signing the divorce papers. We had been married for 14 years. Daniel was a good man. Responsible. Loyal. Predictable. Too predictable. He was a high school teacher who lived by routines and schedules. Breakfast at 7. News at 9. Bills paid two weeks early. The same restaurants. The same vacations. The same life.

Some things will take me forever to understand. Why does a 1 and a half hour flight from Nairobi to Dar Es Salaam cost Ksh. 40,000 to Ksh 50,000 yet a 24 hour flight from Nairobi to China is Ksh 75,000. What exactly is going on? Why does accomodation for one night at a four star hotel in Kenya cost Ksh 20,000 yet in China a four star hotel is Ksh 5,000 per night? Why do borrowers in Kenya pay an interest rate of 18% to 22% for loans yet in China the interest rate is 3%. How will a kenyan company that is borrowing to expand its manufacturing technology or equipment compete with a chinese company that is borrowing 1 billion dollars at 3%?

Malcolm X warned us about the house negro decades ago. He never imagined one would have a verified Twitter account, 538K views, and a non-stick pan. While Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal and Chad are dismantling French military bases, rejecting the CFA Franc and reclaiming their sovereignty brick by brick, Kenya's contribution to this historic pan-African moment is a cheerful cooking post between a Kenyan and French flag. "Calm before the storm." The storm being apparently a nice meal for Monsieur Macron. The rest of Africa is writing eviction notices to France. Kenya is writing shopping lists. Ruto looked at the greatest wave of African self-determination since independence ordinary people from the Sahel to West Africa choosing dignity over dependency and decided Kenya's response would be warm hospitality and a wooden spoon. This is not diplomacy. Diplomacy has terms and conditions. This is performance. The performance of a government so comfortable in borrowed luxury that it cannot hear its neighbours reclaiming theirs. Lumumba was assassinated with French and Belgian fingerprints on the file. Nkrumah preached African unity from his bones. Thomas Sankara died for exactly this moment of continental awakening. And here we are. Stirring a pot. Smiling for the camera. Uploading it for half a million people. Africa is waking up. Kenya hit the snooze button. Dismas wa Tabu. Dreaming in installments. Billed in full.

Poor students and youths in Kenya may soon pay the price for William Ruto’s govt new phone tax. Buried in the Finance Bill 2026 on page 18 is a proposal to slap a 25% excise duty on imported phones. Before this: No excise duty on this category. Now: 25%. A phone landing at KSh 20,000 could attract an extra KSh 5,000 in excise alone, before VAT and other charges. And who pays in the end? You. This is not just a tax on phones. It is a tax on learning. A tax on job hunting. A business tax. A tax on access to the internet. In many rural homes, parents cannot afford laptops for CBC. Phones became the classroom. Many poor students would use phones to even submit homework Now, even that is being taxed harder inadvertently.
