TalkSoon: Personal CRM is live on the App Store today. My first app. 🎉 4 months. 3 full rebuilds. 4 App Store rejections. 50 cold outreach. 6 research calls. Countless revisions. Nobody talks about how many iterations you actually make. And how long the small things cost you. TalkSoon helps professionals nurture the relationships at scale, so you don’t miss a referral, a deal or an opportunity to someone who followed up. 🚀 apps.apple.com/au/app/talksoo…

@Maisy_Cheng Beautiful reminder. Life’s moments can’t be automated or scaled..pause and actually live them. Have a good one

Flew to KunMing for a family trip, it’s my dad’s birthday. First day I was glued to my phone, LinkedIn, emails, X. Classic. Then we turned a corner and found this group of people just… dancing and singing in the street. Minority outfits, workers still in their gear trying to follow the steps, pure joy. I stopped. Everyone stopped. Been so busy building the product I forgot to build the memories. If you’re with family this Easter, put the phone down. The grind will still be there Monday. 🙏

@acadictive fair point, every disruption brings these conversations. But usually there’s time to adapt. The hiring freezes and headcount cuts happening right now aren’t all AI-washing. The pattern is familiar. The speed isn’t.

@Maisy_Cheng well, the same pattern is happening with ai. it is a disruptive technology and at early stages, there are lots of comments like this around it.

Had a coffee chat with a staff SA at a top tech company this morning. He's on the front line. And what he sees confirms everything. People say AI is just a bubble. It's not. Things are already moving, with or without your belief. 3 observations he shared: - SaaS "per seat" pricing is on borrowed time. The pitch is literally "you'll need fewer engineers." The model can't survive its own sales narrative. - He'd pick an infrastructure layer company over Anthropic. Application layer products, even the biggest names, go obsolete fast. Cursor was cool 6mo ago. Claude Code was cool 1mo ago. Codex is cool this week. - No role is untouched. If your value only lives in the "how to do", the shelf life is shortening. The people who last are the ones who articulate demand well — to AI and to people. This is a guy who sees the deals, the roadmaps, the conversations behind closed doors. Do you agree with his take?

Computer use is now in Claude Code. Claude can open your apps, click through your UI, and test what it built, right from the CLI. Now in research preview on Pro and Max plans.

@MSiekmoeller same, my target audience is not builder too 🤝... true that once i use X for following cool builders and writing journals, i feel less anxious about the account growth ;)

@Maisy_Cheng I guess if you do that to grow your product it's even harder.... I do it 'just for fun' - never got a single user from here. It's not the target audience of my products

How do people actually do this: 1. Open X for 30 mins. 2. Write 20-30 replies. 3. Close X. I can spend 30 minutes on here and I’m lucky if I find 5 posts I actually want to respond to. Is it the algorithm, or am I just too picky?

@ElitzaVasileva I love how real this post is — and yes, you are totally spot on with the list 😂 All my posts about real tips and learnings could not beat a simple “I got rejected by the App Store 4 times” 🫠

If you want to go viral on X, it’s actually pretty simple: → Quit your 9-5 and announce you’re all-in on indie hacking → Buy a MacBook and ask what you should install first → Book a one-way ticket to Southeast Asia to follow your dreams → Get your first paying customer and post your revenue dashboard → Launch your first iOS app and talk about how nervous you are about approval → Get rejected by the App Store (extra reach if it happens multiple times) → Ask pointless things like which AI tool people would delete forever → Work on a Friday/Saturday night and post a laptop pic about “the grind” → Share your monthly expenses in whatever country you’re in That’s it. That’s the formula. Follow me for more groundbreaking growth strategies.

best onboarding i've seen...not just for the beautiful animations, the narrative flow is unseen, it positions itself to an app that 'save you 18 years of life', brilliant move.
César Álvarez@cesaralvarezll

If you want to build a great onboarding for your app. Checkout how indie ios goat @YoniSmolyar did it with Brainrot. Onboarding: – Starts with a video demo – Clearly shows the problem – Smooth animations & interactions – Collects user data early – Explains how the app solves it – Even asks for a review mid-onboarding Paywall: – Hard paywall – Close it → 50% discount – Close it again → 80% discount This is what high-converting apps look like.

@quxiaoyin Claude latest model is def capable of most tasks, wrappers won't last — the real moat is whoever owns the context.

A billion-dollar AI presentation company just lost to Claude on my pitch deck. I won't name the company for the sake of friendship. But here's what happened. I needed to build a deck. I tried their tool, tried Claude, tried some traditional options. I ended up going with Claude. Their tool had better design, I'll give them that. The visual polish was slightly ahead. But Claude knew my company, had my context, understood my data. When I told it something like "pretend you're a Sequoia partner and build me a world-class deck," it delivered something with significantly better logic and narrative flow. That's the problem for standalone AI apps. They optimize for one task in isolation. But Claude with the right context and skills can do the same task while understanding everything else about your business. My prediction: these companies will eventually need to turn their methodology into a skill or plugin for foundation models. That's their best path forward. But here's the catch. Once your methodology becomes a document that plugs into Claude, how do you charge for it? Everyone can see the skill. The pricing model breaks down. This is why I'm skeptical of AI application companies that compete on features alone. Features get absorbed. Context and methodology are harder to replicate, but harder to monetize too. #AI #Startups #FoundationModels #ProductStrategy

This eBook generates $3,000 every month. I didn’t write it. You can create the same book if you have: • Internet • Claude account • 1-hour everyday This isn’t the usual “sell a PDF” tactic. It’s a system I mastered after 6 years of trial and error. If you want to learn how to publish AI eBooks on Amazon and build at least $3K/month income stream... I’ve recorded 5+ hours breaking it all down. Like this post Comment “SEND” Follow so I can DM you. I’ll send the full tutorial for free. (First 500 only)

Which one would you click on? I had fun making this thumbnail. Didn't think for one second about "the brand". I just want this video to reach 100k views . The cool thing about it, is that I am click baiting but we deliver behind. I honestly didn't want to release this episode because @wickedguro gives way too much sauce.
