@Shannaro_Cold @mazestalker Somewhat agree. Though the solution in my mind would be to do the same for environment animation instead of compromising the animation style outright. (Fx could go either way)
English

@mazestalker I prefer matching fps to the environment. If it's a 2D character in 3D scenery, the lower fps is okay. If both 3D, then I prefer matching fps, because if you put low fps 3D character into a high fps 3D environment, it looks like you went cheap on character animations imo.
English

So I need some help. If you can tell the difference between left and right, which one do you prefer? I have a strong bias on this, obviously! #gamedev #solodev #indiegame #mazestalker
English

@mazestalker Left looks more intentional than the right. By comparison it forces the right side to read as more generic when side by side.

Here it is. The most definitive breakdown of Amy Hennig's Uncharted 4 ever made. This has been a huge undertaking but I hope you all like it!

Genuinely massive amount of new, never before seen Uncharted 4 development history from when it was under the direction of the original creative lead. Absolutely worth watching.
(Also go retweet it if you have a community that likes video game history / datamining / cut content)

@ShinjukuAshura Surprised that they’re so loud compared to the literal nightclub at the basement of the building this was filmed at lol

@geoffkeighley You better blow my back out with something crazy at the end this time, with devs prepared for that kind of spotlight

@NorrieTheGoat @DiscussingFilm Each episode is around 42min long. Normal One Piece is 18min. That means about 6min per chapter, which is about reading speed. No filler pace is generally 9mins per chapter. So this doesn’t seem egregious.
English

@DiscussingFilm Now I’ll watch this…because I’m never watching 1300 episodes of that other shit.
You know how much audacity you have to have to make 1300 episodes of a show.

Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege now has Steam Trading Cards, Profile Backgrounds, Emoticons and Badges. You can start earning them right now simply by playing the game. Collect them all, trade them or sell them on the Steam Community Market, it’s up to you! We hope you enjoy what we have put together. We hid a secret password in the background of every card that you can use in the game, but you will need to collect them to view the full images!

i was lucky enough to sit down with @longislandviper to discuss his new game, saint slayer (developed by @LillymoGames) - a pixel perfect throwback to the classic nes titles that a lot of us grew up loving.
please check it out if you can.

@PoetofLegend @Dexerto I think more of the issue is that Halo has traditionally been a leader, not a follower of trends. It’s more of a principle thing.
English

@Dexerto A lot of people are upset in the comments. I don't see why they can't make an extraction shooter and support their arena scene together. An extraction based halo game that uses the gunplay? Heck yeah. For balancing purposes I'm not sure how well it would be received though.

@HelloMary221406 @hoshizorarock Ain’t no politics involved- some people are just rude, negative, or overall pessimistic towards the world. That crosses all party lines and all country boarders unfortunately.
English

@hoshizorarock I've witnessed one or two Japanese accounts saying some fairly rude things. That being said, I've also witnessed that from Western leftists too. So it's possible it's a left-wing thing.
English

@GloryDoge You went way too extra, and tonkatsu sauce is NOT a valid replacement for Worcestershire sauce. And Bull-Dog has Worcestershire anyway, so no need.
English

Ok Japanese friends, here's how to make famous sauce from America restaurant Rasing Canes using Japanese products
🍟 Raising Cane's Sauce – Japan Style! (Kewpie version)
After 24 hours in the fridge it transforms. Trust the process! 🥶
Ingredients:
1. ½ cup (120g) Kewpie mayonnaise
2. ¼ cup (60g) ketchup (Kagome or Heinz) (I use Heinz)
3. 1–1½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce OR tonkatsu sauce (Bull-Dog/Otafuku)
4. ½–1 tsp grated fresh garlic (or garlic from tube)
5. ½–1 tsp (or more!) coarsely ground black pepper (kuro kosho) (Don't go light on the pepper)
6. Pinch of salt (or tiny dash of dashi powder for umami)
Optional boosts:
• ½ tsp mirin
• Few drops yuzu or lemon juice
Mix everything well. Taste, then refrigerate at least 6–24 hours. Flavors meld and the mayo taste calms down.
Perfect for karaage, famichiki, fries, or katsu sando!
Enjoy and let me know what you think 😋
