@nikkimwalls They fixed him up but it seems like a lot of dogs with hair who are neglected have really bad problems. It seems that human cruelty should at least stay within our species, but no.

@nikkimwalls this poor guy on PetFinder--in a city shelter--had his eyes damaged because no one had cut his hair for years. Hair got embedded in his skin. So sad. When I get back to the states, going straight to the shelter.

@anarchpetditty @upstaterica I was judging myself for liking TV more. But good tv follows a character over a long period of time. I will start wondering about the character as I'm walking down the street, thinking about why they would do A or B.

@MajorAmerican @upstaterica I'm so cheered to have company in bias against movies!!! On the whole, I struggle with a medium that uses words and images in movement together. I love words, and I love images--but on their own.

@anarchpetditty @upstaterica I don't like movies either. And this movie helped me realize why. I like character studies best. And usually films are too fast for that.
