@NickZednik Deadpool 3 made a gazillion dollars. People will show up when they are interested and audiences still need to be wooed. Somewhere down the line the powers that be forgot they still have to court the people they want to see these film.

Don’t be foolish, there’s definitely superhero fatigue. The MCU got away with “mediocre movie fatigue” for the longest time because it was the hottest ticket in town. You had to be there for the next movie no matter what. DC was always playing catch up and every time they had momentum, it came crumbling down. The only difference now is people are drawn to more alternative options to CBMs. The “prestige blockbuster” is what sells outside of the A-list characters. This year will be the test!
