Dot Line/D1 off Heals Driver = Space to Delay:
Here's why that difference between middle lane drive and dot line drive is so crucial.
Dot line = space between D1 and D2 to delay and look for odd man advantage.
Middle lane = F1 to hold his 1v1 longer. Less advantage on attack.

For those wondering, yes there's a difference between a middle lane drive and a dot line drive. Middle lane = backs defenders up but allows them to still defend high danger. Dot line = draws defenders outside high danger and more commonly creates odd man offensive opportunity.
