Excited to support Link Cell Therapies' $60M Series A as they emerge from stealth and to partner with an outstanding syndicate led by @JNJInnovation, with participation from @samsaracapital, Sheatree Capital, @bmsnews Bristol Myers Squibb, @KyowaKirin_US, Sherpa Healthcare Partners, and other strategic investors.
I first encountered Link’s groundbreaking technology when it was just a twinkle in founder @Majzner_Lab's eye at Stanford—and @Wing_VC is thrilled to support Link's pioneering work as they take this discovery to the clinic. High-fidelity AND-gated CAR-T therapies will unlock ex vivo and in vivo CAR-T efficacy for solid tumors, and the company's first lead program LNK001 aims to deliver a precise, dual-antigen approach that tackles the persistent on-target/off-tumor toxicity challenge in renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
Congratulations to Robbie and co-founder Crystal Mackall, and to the entire Link Cell Therapies team! Looking forward to watching this transformative technology progress and bring hope to patients battling cancer.
