@PRENDSTAPAIX @plan3tMIKE @lanottebianche But all of these fictional stories have some sort of basis in reality. People really experience suffering, and that inspires his art. And on top of that where does he draw the line? Is it more ok for me to make a movie about a fictional war than a real war?

@plan3tMIKE @lanottebianche you’re entitled to your opinion but it is not dumb. writing an entirely fictional tragedy is very different from using a real one for a story. no contradictions on his take.

I get what he’s saying but it makes no real sense. You can extrapolate that to any historical event. Is it bad to make a 9/11 movie, or a films exploring police brutality, or war? Where does it stop, should movies only ever be completely fictional? Is that even possible?
