Mentally Winning

we went to an unusual Easter egg hunt today. it was ongoing - no dedicated start time. there were a TON of eggs grouped around. every kid could start whenever they wanted and get as many eggs as they could find and fit in their basket. all of the eggs were empty. when you were done, you “traded” all of your eggs for a little cellophane bag of candy. (and then the event throwers would just toss all of your eggs back in the field 😂)

Ever since I realized he looks a lot like his grandmother, I always see her in him. Especially his delicate eyes.
