@SteveChalke We also need better RSE - including what we are campaigning for . Lessons on domestic abuse and healthy relationships for post 16 year olds . So all sixth formers and colleges .

As the PM declares all pupils in England should study maths till they’re 18 to better equip them for the workplace, my view is we need a shake up eduction but not this. What we need is a wider, more creative curriculum; more art, music, the chance to work together & make stuff!

Yesterday the Prime Minister announced he wants Maths education to continue in post-16 education.  What the Prime Minister has ignored is the estimated 2.4 million adults aged 16+ who experienced domestic abuse in the year ending March 2022 ( ONS, 2022).

I do this for every woman who lost their life to domestic abuse! It’s not comfortable and it pushes me out of my comfort zone every day, but I represent every single one of them who were so cruelly killed. I shall never stop fighting and this is just the beginning!
