The movement to close the gender gap in public leadership is gaining momentum across Africa. From East Africa to West Africa, powerful conversations have already sparked bold ideas for change. Now, it’s time for Southern Africa to take the stage. On Monday, 15 September 2025 at 2:00 PM SAST, the EJS Center, in collaboration with @MakeWomenCount and @amwaafrika, will host the #GapZero Southern Africa Regional Consultation. This convening will explore how women leaders, activists, and institutions in Southern Africa are challenging barriers, reshaping governance, and setting priorities that will feed into the continent-wide #GapZero Manifesto.
