@othmaanX @BrysonGray They always mention the Dead Sea scrolls as if you can’t literally just google it to see how it’s different from the masoretic text and the Septuagint

Dead Sea scrolls isn’t identical to today’s bible. Quran talks about what was revealed to Moses, the message in general could be found in the bible .. this is to be accepted .. but what’s added to that, things that are madeup, no, no one should follow them. And you can know which is God’s message from what’s added by men when you filter them out using Quran, what Quran confirms is from God, the rest isn’t.

The Islam argument is weird to me. How can the Tanakh be corrupted when the Dead Sea scrolls is dated to before the Quran was even written? That’s important because the Quran commands Muslims to follow the Torah and the gospels. We have the same Torah from that time.

@Makelmain @bio_jibril See how easy it is for you to proscribe violence. But when herdsmen attack your village and hurt your relatives it's a bad thing. They worship a violent god. 😅 💔 😅

@Detinsx @Justin005443601 @Justtherealk @mariahsudi I wasn’t implying anything, you’re reading into my tweets and don’t even know what the fuck I was saying that’s why you thought I was making some kind of feminist statement . The point is neither of them can wear bikinis in front of other people . Nothing more nothing less

@Makelmain @Justin005443601 @Justtherealk @mariahsudi ok ur not a feminist. it's still a false equivalence, u compared a bf telling his gf what & what not to wear ≠ with a father trying to make her mother feel more comfort with her religion. ironically u the one implying the mom don't have agency lol

@mariahsudi Her dad didn’t tell her mom that she couldn’t wear a bikini. He found a way for her to wear one within their religious values.

@shinyhnter1999 @SaintAwoleesu Buddy, do you believe that Jesus was the perfect lamb of God who died sinless? Jesus obeyed the farther, Jesus followed the law, and that would include the no long hair for men, that's all I am saying

There are four different words in our Bibles that have regularly been translated into the single English word "Hell": Hebrew שְׁאוֹל Sheol Greek ᾅδης Hades Greek ταρταρόω Tartarus Greek γέεννα Gehenna When studied, none of these represent the "Hell of Eternal Torment" that so many Christians believe in, or teach.

@HeraldHarvest @Benjamin_01X Matthew 10:28 also says “ Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell” if you have eternal torment that is not soul destruction, that’s just an eternal soul that is suffering without an ultimate destruction, not a second death

I think you're inferring too much here. First, in Rev 20:13 "Death and Hades delivered up the dead which are in them". So Death and Hades are distinguished from their "occupants" - There is no "torment" language associated with those, nor is there any associated with those not found written in the Book of Life which were cast there. So first, it doesn't follow that everything cast into the lake of fire experiences torment. How does one torment death and Hades? Second, you are also inferring that Revelation 14:9-11 is another description of the Lake of Fire. I could not disagree more. I feel this could only be inferred by completely ignoring the context of this passage. If you're interested, I've made a two part video series explaining this. Part 1 is here: youtu.be/-u5c0ott_aE?si… Part 2 is here: youtu.be/gmjmMMGs7Wo?si…

@Benjamin_01X @HeraldHarvest If Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, then wouldn’t he be suffering eternal torment ? Seeing that the punishment is supposedly eternal torment and not just death .

"And they were judged - each one, according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second Death. Anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." I agree that only the devil, Beast and Prophet are the only ones explicitly mentioned as being "tormented for ever and ever". That doesn't change the fact that Death and Hades - whom I regard as personified powers here (though they're more complex than that, but I'll set that aside for now) - are indicative of entire realms (death and the grave) being thrown into the Lake of Fire, along with their occupants - and I think it's a reasonable inference that the very purpose of that location is "torment... [for] ever and ever". Revelation 14 uses the same kind of language, stating that those who worship the Beast will be "tormented with fire and brimstone..." and that the "smoke of their torment ascends for ever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night". That's indisputably about humans, and it would be reasonable again to infer - given the overlapping language - that Revelation 20 and 14 are describing the same ultimate fate, and likely the same ultimate location.
