I don’t know about you, but I’ll never prefer designing by firing prompts like a machine gun. I want to draw rectangles, tweak bezier curves, and polish gradients and radiuses for hours. That’s the craft I fell in love with. 🫠

I’m so happy that I live in the world outside the X bubble, where our clients pay us for work they understand and need. Not like the cringe founders calling design a “tax” or thinking it can easily be replaced by AI. Let’s see how far you’ll go with generated design.

last year around this time i had ~ 40 followers working local, low pay fast forward to now ~ 4.5k followers inbound leads from X working with international clients launched my own design studio one year can change everything. thank you for 4,500 followers🤍

Discovery phase for a new project this week. Not jumping into design yet. Just research and competitive analysis. Spent 2 days looking at best in class products in the space. It's hard to build something better if you don't know what better looks like.

They changed one thing on their landing page @MakelyStudio CTA: “view pricing” → “from $2,499/mo” that’s it. result: 1 call/week → 3 calls/week same page same offer just more explicit at the moment of decision most people hide the price but if trust is there clarity wins the more trust you build the more direct you can be and direct converts.

1,000 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 🎉 5 months ago I had almost none. Just a bio, a crazy idea, and a 5am alarm. I started posting in October with zero audience and zero strategy. Just a guy who spent 20 years in tech, decided to build in public at 43. What I didn’t expect was the people. The DMs from other parents building in the margins. The founders who said “me too” when I talked about hitting $1M and still feeling empty. The people who showed up every single day just to cheer on a stranger. That’s what 1K really means to me. Not a number. A room full of people who chose to follow along on a journey that’s still being written.
