I’m a doctor- and what I’m witnessing right now in Colombo and Kotte is frightening. Although it's not the first time but yes this has become a seasonal disaster every now and then. Chikungunya is back, and it’s not coming quietly. In just the past few days, I’ve treated patients—some as young as 12, some over 70—crippled by joint pain so severe they couldn’t walk.
