The uneducated and those who did not go far with education like to talk about how “educated people are struggling with low paying jobs”. They say “ma graduate akukutika. Sukulu siipindula. Mwamuona uje sanalowe mkalasi koma akupanga makobiria ankhani nkhani”. That is stupidity of the highest level. There is nowhere in the world where the uneducated have more money than the educated. The educated rule the world and control money. Right here in Malawi, it is the educated ruling. And the majority of rich people are very educated. So yes you will have some uneducated who have done well in business and have a lot of money. And you will have some struggling educated. Those are outliers. Education is the key to success and that will not change and it is true anywhere in the world. What we must do is to not put down each other. When someone is not educated, they must be told that they can still succeed in life by showing them examples of those who have succeeded without education. But we must encourage everyone to be educated because knowledge is power and it unlocks endless possibilities!
