@kmacraeplockton Much as I respect Biz, can't help but feel she is completely out of touch with the village here. The closing of the school would suggest no ambition for fighting to retain and grow an active and school age Plockton and wider Lochalsh community.

My 85 year old dad who has lived in Plockton all his life doesn't want to see the council close the school for good, but if they do, as many believe, he wants them to turn it into an Old folks home. It would be a metaphor for the whole of the Highlands. ross-shirejournal.co.uk/news/highland-…

Parts of Plockton Primary School in the Highlands have been condemned. Most of the pupils will now be taught in the High School up the road.
