We were deeply grieved to learn of Saud Bin Abdul Aziz Al Muhannadi's death, who served as the vice president of @QFA_EN & @theafcdotcom . May Almighty Allah bestow upon him Jannathul Fir'daus, bravery, and strength for his family and those close to him. 🤲🏻

On June 25, the "Respect in the Commonwealth: Peace Tournament" was held at Addu Stadium, bring together eight teams—girls & boys—representing each of the city's 8 schools. @commonwealthsec @FfP_Global @maldivesfacsr @MaldivesFA #SafeguardingInFootballProgramme

The #peacetournament also emphasizes how ⚽ itself embodies the fundamental values required for development & peace, such as cooperation, unity, respect, social inclusion, & fair play. @commonwealthsec @FfP_Global @MaldivesFA @maldivesfacsr #SafeguardininFootballProgramme

The safeguarding in ⚽ workshops in Male’ were held at the National Stadium, and participants included coaches, instructors, safeguarding officials, referees and representatives from clubs, academies, & other grassroots organizations. @commonwealthsec @FfP_Global @MaldivesFA

⚽️’s ability & potential to impart life lessons to children and young people, as well as to advance development and peace through its on- and off-field activities and strategies, and interventions were among the topics covered. @commonwealthsec @FfP_Global @MaldivesFA
