LGBTQ has been part of mainstream culture since I think the 1980's or sooner. I grew up watching a ton of shows, mostly reruns that gave me a major positive vibe. My mother told me at a young age that two people loving each other is not disgusting, it's the people that say it is that are. Ignorant and bigoted all from stigma and cruel propaganda. In fact at one time there was a PSA about beware of the homosexual but the guy in the video who was the gay man was literally only portaited as a pedo who like young male kids, and also somehow the kid was introuble for being a victim. It was really stupid.
