Our current tax code is outdated, built for the 1930s, and riddled with special interest carve-outs. Allowing Missourians to keep more of their hard-earned money with a simpler, fairer system will drive real economic growth for our state. Time to modernize and put the people in charge. I enjoyed catching up with Missouri Treasurer Vivek Malek recently at the Missouri Capitol! A fiscally responsible budget is critical to maintaining a strong state and national economy, and I always value the opportunity to work with state leaders to keep that goal front and center.
