Kids today say houses are unaffordable But I can find 20+ properties for under $100,000 in the Midwest But you won’t move to a small quiet town not on the coast

Life is about learning from mistakes and progression. The first house I ever fixed up I admit mistakes were made. This was before we had smartphones and the internet in our pockets. I couldn’t look up videos on how to do something so back then I had to ask around. Talk to people who already knew what they uh were doing or at least claimed to know what they were doing. From not putting back roof vents to routing a gutter drain pipe to the wrong area that caused a basement to flood. I even messed up some plumbing by thinking that purple primer was the glue. Turning on the water and flooding the basement again, it happens. Years later I don’t make the same mistakes twice and I am better for it.
