As far as agrifood systems financing is concerned, @RwandaAgri has consistently been on track since 2017 in implementing the @AUC_CAADP. The @BRDbank provides a concrete example of how financing can support agrifood systems transformation. As of 2024, BRD had allocated USD 11 million in financing to farmers, cooperatives, and agriculture-based SMEs, of which 78% was allocated for primary production and 18% for commercial post-harvest activities. The country’s National Economic Empowerment Fund (@NeeF_MW) has shown notable results, making significant progress in expanding access to finance for underserved groups, disbursing USD 21 million in loans to more than 107,000 beneficiaries, including over 52,000 youth and 44,500 women.
