@alimully @mummacat10 I was thinking the same…otherwise they are paying double from their substantive post & bank 🤔 (unless as you said they just work bank!) Student loan aside.. it’s a lot of deductions and not a huge amount of pay for a hard shift in ED!

So saddened + disgusted to be shown this payslip today. Top band 6 nurse worked 13 hrs bank in A+E -very busy shift. Note the student loan taken out at source for ‘bank’. This amazing nurse worked extra to fill in gaps in staffing. This nurse is shattered ‘ hats off’ salute you
