@alisonleary1 I have just come back on here and it didn't take me long to find the reason for this post. Please keep doing what you do, standing up for nursing with the evidence base. You inspire so many of us to do the same

@caspertown42 The app usability depends on the digital system in your GP/hospitals Yet again great in theory not in application due to the postcode lottery of EPRs

I rarely use twitter now but I came back on to share this. The first phase 3 RCT proving exercise reduces risk of cancer recurrence & is better than many drugs. Hope this triggers some funding to support people to be active in a way that works for them theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

Mind blown. I was today years old when I realised Speaking agencies work for the client, not for the speaker I’ve just discovered Jane Atkinson and The Wealthy Speaker School and podcast I’m looking to ramp up my speaking career in 2026 and this one little piece of information changed everything Most of my gigs have come from referrals or people who’ve seen me speak Very few come from the agency I joined I was getting grumpy, but now I know why - they’re not pushing me. It’s not their job. My numbers were non-existent I’ve never out-reached. I’ve expected people to find me. I have a burning passion (cliche but it’s true) to help people overcome adversity, burnout, trauma and find a way back to joy. I’m like a cat with nine lives - in ten years I’ve had cancer three times, suicidal depression three times, lost both my parents, my job and my fertility - but I’m still here wanting to help the world. Now I know I need to help the world find me. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned about the speaking business?

I am proud to support @BloodCancer_Uk’s call on the Govt to ensure blood cancer is not forgotten in the National Cancer Plan. Despite being the 3rd deadliest cancer, awareness of the disease is shockingly low. This must be addressed to save lives. bloodcancer.org.uk/news/governmen…

This 👇 Registered Nurses need to stand up for nursing Lobby for NAs to complete top up training
Bethany Kelly, DSN, QN@sotonDSN

@alimully They want cheaper, less qualified NAs who are prepared to work outside their scope. Not RNs. We need to stand up and get this sorted. NMC are useless. Senior RNs need to stop letting NAs work outside their scope & utitlise them as they are meant to be

This is my 17th World Blood Cancer Day. When I was diagnosed there was a reluctance to call it blood cancer (to avoid scaring me) and this meant that I couldn’t find some of the information and support I needed…for example from the incredible @bloodcancer_uk. #SayBloodCancer
Blood Cancer UK@bloodcancer_uk

280,000 in the UK are living with, or are in remission from leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, MPN or MDS. Yet all too often people don't realise these diseases are a blood cancer. Today on World Blood Cancer Day, help us spread the word, share this post, and #SayBloodCancer 🩸
