A historic milestone unfolded at the Ghoomar Festival 2025 as 6100 women from across Rajasthan came together to set a remarkable Asia Book of Records achievement. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari with a drum roll. At the heart of the event’s public health efforts, the Dettol Banega Swasth India campaign with Mamta HIMC, made a strong impact through a dedicated Hygiene Awareness Stall. Participants and visitors were sanitized, and soaps and sanitizers were distributed to reinforce essential hygiene habits. A specially designed selfie booth became a popular attraction, encouraging hundreds of attendees to actively participate and take the #IAmTheChange pledge. In a gesture symbolizing discipline and health, hygiene kits were also handed over to the Army Band, marking their role in championing community well-being. The initiative received warm appreciation from Joint Director Dr. Poonita Singh (Department of Tourism), who praised its thoughtful execution and powerful impact. This year’s Ghoomar Festival didn’t just celebrate Rajasthan’s cultural heritage—it showcased how Banega Swasth India and local leadership can blend tradition, community energy, and health awareness into one transformative celebration. #GhoomerFestival #BanegaSwasthIndia #WorldToiletDay #DettolIndia #DettolBSI #DusGazSeViksitBharat
