It was never about them, You really think government accepted the demands because some toddlers showed their milk teeth & growled ? That too who are suckled by Aap ? Naah, government knew that common people are getting agitated, if the protest isn't folded quickly it'll gain actual support on the street, not just brainless youngsters but of elders too, not just paid influencers & laborers, but of well employed & independent citizens, & the enemies had planned to continue it for a long time to pressurize the government to take back FCRA, that's why farmers had started marching again, Add to that, a direct impact of Delhi riot murder verdict, They didn't expect that the government would accept the demands, & the matter would die down so soon, Resignation of Pradhan won't matter, he will become a minister again after cabinet reshuffle, but it pacified the agitation, it sent the message that "protest was successful, government bowed down & accepted defeat against the grit of young generation", Problem solved, snake neutralized without breaking stick, But there's a lesson in there for the government as well, a stitch in time saves nine, it's better to listen to outrage of common people before it becomes a circus sponsored by enemies, after which it will become a who blinks first competition, Egoistic Deadlock Sarvatra Varjayet.
THE SKIN DOCTOR@theskindoctor13

The govt totally deserves this mocking. I mean, if you decided to surrender, fine, you could have done it by calling a press conference and resign by saying, 'We are bowing down to regular students.' Or you could have called Wangchuk and yielded to him. Or you could have called the parents of the NEET leak suicide victims, expressed regret, and resigned in front of them. You could have even called the ordinary students who were part of the protest. All of the above would be more sensitive and good optics too. But instead, you chose to call the trolls affiliated with a political party and desperately surrendered to every single demand of theirs. You were so desperate to shake hands and appease them. For what, man? Who was the think tank behind this?

CJP Gives Government Time Till Tomorrow to Withdraw FIRs We hope that if a senior Cabinet Minister is making an agreement with us, it will be honoured. All the FIRs filed will be withdrawn.... If this written agreement is not provided by the government by tomorrow, and if the students, youth, and protesters are not released, then the CJP will be forced to protest again: CJP Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka

Dear @JPNadda @DrJitendraSingh ji, We are observing a complete breach of the agreement regarding no police action against the protestors. Hundreds of students have been arrested in Bihar and Bengal, and hundreds are being surveilled/harrassed in Delhi and other states. Multiple reports are emerging in Delhi around detention of volunteers supporting protestors with logistics. We demand that all the FIRs against the protestors be immediately withdrawn, students be released and no future FIRs be filed (in line with our agreement) by Delhi police / Central investigative agencies / Police in BJP-allied states, FAILING WHICH WE WILL BE FORCED TO SIT ON PROTEST AGAIN. We also demand that the written agreement around legal cases be shared with us by tomorrow, the aligned timelines with the Government of India.

The Cockroach Janata Party says it is deeply concerned about reports of punitive action being taken against students and protestors. Asks government to stick to its assurances otherwise other steps will be considered.
Saurav Das@SauravDassss

🚨STATEMENT We are deeply concerned by multiple reports reaching us of students and other protestors being targeted, detained, or arrested by various state agencies, particularly in Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar. The Cockroach Janta Party had called off its nationwide protest only after the Government of India assured us that no punitive action would be taken against any protestor, either now or in the future, in any BJP-ruled or NDA-ruled states. The reports emerging from these states are therefore a matter of grave concern. First, we wish to assure every protestor that our legal team is already coordinating with brilliant lawyers in the concerned states to secure the release of those detained and to extend all possible legal assistance. This has been happening from Day 1. Second, we call upon the Government of India, particularly @JPNadda ji and @DrJitendraSingh ji, to immediately honour the assurance given to us by ensuring the release of those detained and by directing that no coercive or retaliatory action is taken against any protestor anywhere in the country. The FIRs registered ought to be withdrawn too. The Government of India is also reminded of its commitment to furnish us the written guarantee in this regard by tomorrow, Tuesday, 28 July 2026. Our decision to suspend the nationwide protest was taken in good faith and solely on the basis of the government’s assurance that it would stand by its word. Any departure from that assurance would not merely amount to a breach of trust with the Cockroach Janta Party but would also be a breach of public trust with lakhs of young Indians who chose dialogue over protests. Such breach of trust will be completely unacceptable to the youth. The Government of India is reminded that it derives credibility not from just making a promise, but from the promises they honour. To the young protestors we say, hold on. We are with you. The CJP continues to closely monitor the situation and expects the Government of India and all BJP/NDA state governments to act with utmost urgency, responsibility, and good faith that the present circumstances demand. We demand that all detainees/arrestees be released immediately, and in any case by tomorrow, and that all FIRs be withdrawn immediately, failing which we shall take further necessary steps. @Cockroachisback
