James Fishback says he will ban H-1B visas in Florida if elected Governor.

POV: you do that and also limit it to individuals whose genetic material has been in this hemisphere since before 1970.

My opponent voted AGAINST exempting senior homeowners sixty five and older from crushing property taxes! This is "NO GOODE!" Our seniors, most of whom are on a fixed income, deserve to live in their homes with dignity. Had this amendment passed, they would have owned their home without having to rent from the government. As your next State Senator, I will ALWAYS fight for tax relief for the people who helped build Indiana and who deserve our utmost respect— OUR seniors! President Trump has given me his complete and total endorsement, I ask for your support as well! I am humbly asking for your vote on or before May 5th! 🇺🇸

@MischievousCur I think social media raised our expectations. We believe it is abuse to raise a child in anything less than an upper class life. That combined with workism, where work is the center of most people’s lives, to the point where family, friends and community are seen as distractions

I didn't say that today's young people are HAPPIER or feel that their lives are more meaningful. But I would guess that more of them believe they should derive meaning from their jobs. I would guess that their lives are more varied compared to, say, the lives of the average Boomer. And that they live in a way that they rightly assess would be disrupted by children. That's not me arguing that they shouldn't have children, it's me saying that they look at their lives and decide it's impossible not because it would actually impoverish them but because they believe it would decrease their abilities to do things they enjoy.

In #Dallas, renting a home hasn’t been this affordable since 2008.

at some point i do kinda wonder what exactly people are doing with their money

There is a good case to make that Democrats are failing to grow because they're losing new Trump-disapproving voters on issues. Look at crime, for instance, where Trump-disapproving GOP voters split 47-1 (!) for the GOP on trust.

In our new poll today, Trump approval is at -22. Two months ago, it was at -15. Meanwhile, the generic ballot has gone from D+6 to...D+6. There's a good argument to be made that Dems are hitting a bit of a ceiling here due to choices they've made. theargumentmag.com/p/why-democrat…
