the "hero" isn't just unlikeable, she's entirely selfish, controlling, and immature. At no point is she ever forced to grow and learn as a person. There is no final realization of how selfish and impossible her dream is. We the player are just basically expected to side with her despite no actual payoff.

@Rivanaot I really like how they portrayed them infiltrating the Paradis Eldians, usually spy / infiltrator characters are shown as calm under all pressure and mever losing composure. Reiner and co had literal doubts if they were doing the right thing
