AN OBSERVATION FROM THE FRONT IN LEBANON A close friend serving with the IDF in Lebanon told me something interesting. I want to share with you. One reason Israeli forces are inside Southern Lebanon is so Hezbollah fires its drones and missiles at them, the soldiers, instead of civilian populations inside Israel. Hezbollah, on the other hand, acts in a completely opposite way. As war escalates, Hezbollah embeds inside further into civilian areas, moves closer to its own people, and uses Lebanese civilians as cover. Israel puts soldiers between terrorists and civilians. Hezbollah puts civilians between itself and Israel.

The U.S. stands firmly with the legitimate Government of Lebanon as it works to restore its authority and build a better future for all its people. Hizballah's threats of violence and overthrow will not be allowed to succeed. The era in which a terrorist group held an entire nation hostage is coming to an end.
