@DancesWithDoors @NornQueenKya @TearShapedHeart I mean I would agree with you but the major difference is that Armageddon is the next big narrative. We haven't seen Mordia or Vostroya be a major narrative focus for the actual game for a very long time.

Like we get cadian shock troops with a new ability "steel legion whatevers" and then people start begging for Mordians, Vostroyans etc. Makes more sense to me to just use steel legion models and the cadian shock troop rules.

Astra Militarum doesn't really need a 20 man infantry block for each and every legion that some niche section of the fan base likes. Just choose a datasheet and bash

A single Primarus could and should win a fight against 10 Orks. 1? Easily. 3? Very possible. 5? IF they came piecemeal. 10? No. That is a dead marine.

@GaijinGoombah Depends on the marine and depends on the ork, but otherwise I agree with you. It's why a line regiment of T'au Fire Warriors SHOULD be able to trade evenly with a squad of marines, but thanks to GW constantly ripping away our Armor Pen, now we die like frogs in a blender instead.
