I expect you might be less exercised if I said it also could covertly happen with "normal" groups. It isn't covert with EB (who, as it happens, are extreme) They operate without some checks + balances and unions.

Polanski is just not terribly bright. "You complain about there being a shortage of services, what immigrant has taken them away?" Erm, all of them, Zack. They are people, they use services, ergo the more people you bring, the tighter the services get.

Ironically, it's Reform's Brexit policy that increased global immigration. The Green Party favoured the EU.

As you say, rather than meritocracy it's only indispensability secures a high position.
