Curious how has coding changed for you in the last ~1 year. Is anyone using VSCode anymore? Cursor? Claude code? How much of your day is spent coding vs prompting. What do you do when the AI is coding? Do you parallelly start multiple tasks? Are you more productive?

Got a call from an “AI recruiter” impersonating a human named Harshit. He kept denying he was an AI agent… until eventually admitting it. This feels deceptive. Very strange—and honestly a bit scary—world ahead.

Just look at the reality once. Look at the number of Bangalore techies with ₹1 Cr+ packages. Were you expecting a much bigger number in Karnataka (India's biggest software engineering hub)? The reality is that Social media has completely normalised ₹1 Cr+ packages for software engineers. Every day, tons of people look down on themselves and feel terrible comparing their packages to what they see online. I've had ₹1 Cr+ offers in the past and I know exactly what it takes to get there. Only a very, very small number of people reach that level, no matter how skilled they are. Freshers & students feel down comparing themselves, thinking 'I'm falling behind' or 'everyone else is making crores straight out of college.' Even engineering colleges shamelessly promote ₹1 Cr+ packages on their hoardings to attract the next batch of 'customers.' This is far from reality.

Part time - reports show delivery men work even 12 hours. With the option of logging out affecting their pay. Unskilled - No, they are largely educated & unemployed. Doing this only for survival. Zero barriers to entry - should they clear UPSC for delivering bread?

I’ve seen businesses around me making 50+ lakhs a year and paying ZERO tax. They rotate 4 to 5 UPI QR codes. Morning one, noon another, evening another, night another. They split 50 lakhs into multiple family accounts so each stays under 12 lakhs.

The reason I tweeted about @zerodha is this is the standard email reply they send to any request ! It's generic , and they ask for 24 hours just to reply ! Can't @Nithin0dha use a Chatbot to provide better service ? Is it fair to make customers wait in this day and age ?

He's Chhotu Lal Sharma, SDM, Pratapgarh, Rajasthan. When the petrol pump employees didn’t serve him first, he politely reminded them with, “Oye! SDM hoon main yahan ka. Tereko dikh nahi raha gaadi lagi hai.” The arrogant staff, instead of paying due respect with a salute, argued back, so the SDM respectfully slapped them. But the high-headed employees dared to slap him back, despite knowing that an SDM is a God-bestowed blessing upon them. Chhotu Lal, maintaining his calm, again politely remarked, “SDM par haath uthata hai, teri behan ko…” Subsequently, police arrived and served justice by arresting the three petrol pump employees. When the video went viral, the SDM’s wife explained that he wasn’t angry because of the delay in petrol but because the pump staff winked at her and said, “Kya maal lag rahi hai.” Although there’s no CCTV evidence supporting the SDM’s wife’s claim, well, she’s the SDM’s wife, so if she says it, it must be true.
