Incredible performance in the United States by Pierre Poilievre He should’ve been elected Prime Minister last year Liberals running on fear campaign clouded Canadians minds Hopefully everyone wakes up in time
Juno News@junonewscom

Poilievre warns China's unchecked rise is a major threat to Canada and the U.S. and backs Trump's protective measures against their regime. "President Trump's efforts [against China]... is fully founded. Canada, however, should be seen as a friend, not a foe, in that effort."

There is only one way to describe @PierrePoilievre addressing the Harvard Club in New York this evening - Prime Minister. "Our countries are always stronger when we work together in friendship." 🇨🇦🇺🇸

With Pierre Poilievre’s recent trips/speeches/interviews, I think this is the first time (perhaps in our history) that the opposition leader has been more relevant, impactful and meaningful, than our elected government. I’ve never heard Prime Minister Carney relate to the every day person, or industry leaders/diplomats at a level like this. Sure, he uses big words, and says things that make you feel virtuous and morally superior… but there’s no substance to it—reflective in our data. It’s no wonder the establishment works so tireless to shame and vilify conservatives in this nation 🤷‍♀️ Canadians may have elected Carney on a false promise to get a deal with our largest trading partner… though, fate may have it that the only person who actually cared about our quality of life and economy, was the man they tried so hard to silence so they could cling onto power—without results—just a little bit longer before we realize that the only crises was their policies. The only danger was them not reversing them. And the only division, has been the names they call everyone who questions them. Canada needs a real leader. Not a world economic forum keynote speaker.

Poilievre says boosting Canadian oil exports to the U.S. can lower gas prices and reduce Middle East reliance. "The best time to prepare for a crisis was 10 years ago," he said, now calling for increased production, pipelines, and a renewed CUSMA to secure long-term energy.

Joe Rogan asked Pierre Poilievre about Mark Carney. Poilievre's reply "I will not criticise our PM on foreign soil." Real class 🇨🇦 Mark Carney was asked about Poilievre. Carney goes off on a smug, arrogant, condescending rant. Zero class😏 Who do you want representing Canada? 🤔

This is now the fifth position Prime Minister Carney has taken on Iran. Now we learn that Canada joined the statement only after it had already been issued by the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Japan. Late to the table and changing its stance as events unfold. It’s now clear that inconsistency is the theme, not nuance. Allies are acting while Canada, under Carney, is reacting, recalibrating, and arriving after the fact… again and maybe not even for long. theglobeandmail.com/world/article-…

This is what Canada needs! A government that stops trying to run everything out of Ottawa and control your life. Instead: Let people live their lives and buy and sell things freely. A government that does a few things well, instead of too many things poorly.

Pierre Poilievre had the opportunity to make a fool of Mark Carney on the world's biggest podcast, but he refused out of respect and showed some real class. In contrast, when Mark Carney appeared on The Daily Show a year ago and Jon Stewart mocked Pierre on live TV, Carney joined in on the mockery and went off on an arrogant rant. While Mark Carney acted like a typical Liberal, Pierre Poilievre acted like a true leader. It's too bad Canada elected the Liberal instead of the guy who was an actual leader.

It’s said that a lie can get around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on. This clip is a really good reminder that the job of defending Canadian oil and gas never stops. Pierre does a masterful job of dispelling lies that have been told about Canada’s oil sands. Canadian energy, specifically from the oil sands and Fort Mac, is ethical and adheres to world-class safety and environmental standards. Our oil and gas displaces far worse forms of energy, from far worse countries, to give Canadians a far better standard of living. All we need to do is tell the truth and correct falsehoods when we hear them.

Poilievre explains that his "no dollar spent without a dollar saved" idea came from a US law (that lapsed in 2002) He says he wants politicians & bureaucrats to live w/ scarcity instead of the single mom, the senior or the small business owner.

@sarobertsonca It is by far the most popular podcast in Canada. So lots of Canadians reached as well. Framing it as US only is intentionally distorting or ill informed.

Poilievre TODAY is in NY at the Foreign Policy Association Harvard Club discussing strengthening Canada-U.S. ties through economic/political leverage, tariff-free trade advocacy, a strong domestic economy/energy sector, pragmatic USMCA cooperation, rejecting permanent ruptures, and avoiding substitution of China for the U.S. as the top trading partner. He just gave a press conference at the NY Stock Exchange.
