@AddisonsUK As I understand it, adrenal glands which manage your stress hormones no longer work. So, stress is very dangerous without medication management. My daughter has Addisons and stress and sickness affect her greatly. She’s a 23yr old hairdresser so days can be tough.

@myaddisons It took 14 months of sickness and finally after a near fatal crisis my daughter was diagnosed. I’d never heard of Addisons until then. She had EVERY symptom. More awareness is important.
