To see them targeted, detained, and torn from their families is beyond devastating — it’s unjust. My heart goes out to every single person impacted by these raids. To anyone who feels unsafe in their own home, in their own city — you are not alone. We see you. We stand with you.

I live and work in Downtown Los Angeles, right in the heart of where these ICE raids are taking place. It’s not just something I’m seeing on the news — it’s happening right outside my window, in my neighborhood, to people I see every day. I’m heartbroken. I’m angry. And I keep asking myself: how is this real life? What’s happening isn’t just a policy issue — it’s personal. I am the proud product of Mexican parents who came to this country chasing a better life.
