How to get your husband to act

Imagine you are a working father living in the Midwest, you make 75k a year. You can support your family, but you're not rich. You worry about paying for college. Then you read about some Somalian stealing $1m out of federal healthcare programs. $1 million for the normal guy would eliminate an enormous amount of his stress. The college thing would be covered. Retirement wouldn't appear so daunting. It's why guys like this buy lottery tickets. And instead he pays into the system and watches "newcomers" make a complete ass out of him. This fraud is bad financially, but it just makes a mockery of all the hard work of normal people and tears away at the social fabric.

This should make you angry. The money is so broken that people think everything got expensive, when in reality the measuring unit itself was destroyed. A 40hr minimum wage week in 1971 earned $64. At $35 gold (1971), that was about 1.8 oz of gold. Today, that same amount of gold is worth $8K. READ that again! $8k for 40 hrs! Broken money is the cause of all the instability surrounding us. Bretton Woods was the literal slave machine created to "break" the money and control you.

You guys should be buying ammo *now* before prices start rising at the end of the month. Copper prices are through the roof, nitrocellulose is short, and the Chinese are restricting antimony exports (as well as other strategic metals). The Kinetic Group (Federal) is raising prices from 2% to 10% across the board and other companies are expecting to do similar numbers. On top of this, there will be shortages from demand outpacing supply. We aren't likely to see an Obama era crisis but you should expect ammunition to go up by April 1. I just bulk ordered a bunch of M855, 9mm, and .22lr. Worst case scenario, I have extra ammo to shoot. Consider doing the same.

After checking the logistics of what we have coming early next week material wise, we have decided to open up a 50,000 round backorder each on both 9mm 115gr and 9mm 147gr FMJ. We are also setting a limit of 2,000 rounds per variety, per order, for the time being. Orders for 147s will likely be shipping by Thursday/Friday of next week, 115s shortly thereafter. As a gun store owner in San Diego I need to bring up a few important issues in today’s ever changing situation(s): - As of today, 9mm and 556 have become extremely difficult for me to find - Ammo is always the first to go and then guns are right behind - We have seen this many times now and if you need to stockpile, it will be a matter of days before your ammo prices drastically increase- most especially in CA - But most importantly: NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU!

@MandoWisco Ah yes the boy who cried wolf. Let's think logically here... What is the probability an event will occur that you need enough ammo to support a gun fight > 2 mins? 0.01% Bet on things that have a higher probability and consequence. ie risk. Average hunter has sufficient ammo.

Bought ammo this morning. Just a quick, impulsive buy without taking inventory. Seemed prudent.

Real talk: was asked to source some ammunition for a executive protection firm and I was like, "oh sure, no problem boss" The distributors are CLEANED OUT on bulk ammo, only have self defense ammo left. Consumer focused sites still have ammo alnk.to/dWfSNVi

We are expecting to have more 9mm available early to mid next week but I have to tell you guys - the supply chain is already getting absolutely slammed and it's going to get worse.
