The strategy is that women want maximum ability to display their bodies in a sexual way in order to attract desired men but also want maximum deniability so they can scold anyone who notices their body that they don't want to, or points out what they're doing, this strategy is mostly unconscious which is why it makes you feel insane to point it out and have women deny it (because most of them aren't even consciously aware of what they're doing)
Catholic Space Emperor@catholicspaceem

Why do women try to wear the least amount of clothes and then get mad when people notice? Isn't that the point? What is the end game of immodesty?

@st_louis_stan And remember, it's "Nice shorts," not "Nice ass." If you comment on them directly, it violates the social norm and makes them feel awkward. Keep up the fiction and compliment the outfit, not the cleavage.

About 130 pages in. I saw a similar loss of morale and motivation in 2003, when our battalion got hit with Stop Loss orders. Overnight, guys who’d previously been gung-ho, model Marines turned into the biggest shitbags you’ve ever seen.

Rhodesia had major issues due to it's total war footing. With only 250k whites, that meant about 70k eligible males (and basically every ambulatory white guy was eligible). Active strength often hovered around 25k. Men simply got exhausted from doing their up to 3 years of national service then going into the reserves, where they often deployed for 6 weeks at a time. It was very hard on businesses and very hard on families. Rhodesians would "take the gap" to South Africa to leave the country. This created a huge brain drain to the country. They just didn't have the population to sustain the war footing, hence advertisements for foreign volunteers.

Having had 6 house attacks & 2 land mine discovered, we had to be on full alert at all times, never without your weapon. The government supplied the weapons & defensive bombs around the house, we built a bunker & a tower to protect ourselves. My predecessors was murdered in the house, because they had insufficient protection. The nearest neighbor was 3 miles away. So we were on our own. We had farm alert radios to call for help when needed. But no one rushed in, due to landline possibilities. What fun we had & thankfully survived unscathed. Praise God

Rhodesian gun law thread, anyone? Despite being under attack by communist guerillas that literally attacked farmers, who had to defend themselves, Rhodesia's gun laws were surprisingly strict. 🧵

@DoomerTapes Probably shoot it with this for any "serious" application. But this'll mainly be a cool plinking gun with a niche side use of PDW.

@DonShift3 If you've never had a ND you aren't handling your guns enough. NDs are a natural part of firearms ownership like fender benders are a natural part of driving.

The same happened in Rhodesia Because it was a British colony, it maintained records of gun ownership, everything from self-defense weaponry like submachine guns to hunting rifles used for pest control When Mugabe took over, he soon used those lists to confiscate every firearm held by whites or his political enemies. Even former Prime Minister Ian Smith, who had bravely stayed on in the country after its defeat in an attempt to help guide it, had a little plinking rifle he used for pest control on his ranch confiscated With all the weaponry confiscated, Mugabe's reign of terror began. He began systematically abusing, expropriating, and otherwise tyrannizing the now un-armed whites, sending his thugs to rough them up, take their things, drag dissidents off to prison, and so on. Full expropriation of white-owned property soon followed. Meanwhile, he also carried out the Gukurahundi, during which time his thugs tried to wipe out the Ndebele, killing tens upon tens of thousands

Taylor D. Rhodes@TaylorDRhodes2A

Every genocide of the 20th century was preceded by weapon registration and confiscation. This is not a slogan. It is a documented sequence: Armenia, Germany, China, Cambodia, Rwanda. Registration precedes confiscation. Confiscation precedes worse.
