@Mandyngqu @Michelle1405_ My daughter was three when her father passed. She just use to bring up that day all the time. Now 6 she doesn’t even remember something’s. I am sure as they get much older it will be a conversation to be had. Hang in there!

Father’s Day school celebrations, award ceremonies, match days, innocent ‘ my dad is my superhero’ speeches during English class etc…💔

@Mandyngqu @LadyM1306 From your replies to comments I gather boy understands but I think he gets triggered seeing other kids with their dads which makes him miss his. I would suggest professional help to assist in his healing and coping process...

@Mandyngqu I was taken from my mother at 4, and there is an always has been therapy for that age- all ages.
Depending on where you live you may or may not have access to enough services, if you’re in a city or highly populated area I would specifically seek pediatric grief counselor /1

@Mandyngqu Try give him a pocket pic of his dad to carry it in his bag or make a neck piece for him to wear always, that could make him see his dad is always with him.
