After watching War2 on my kiddo's insistence, pulling my hair out and vowing never to watch a Bolly movie again, I will be watching #dhurandar2 on Sunday though it is a 4 hour thing. It's not that Indians don't want to spend money on watching films in Theatres. It's just that they are tired of the Bolly films mediocrity and Aman ka Tamasha.

This isn’t film criticism, it’s performative outrage dressed up as intellect. If ur benchmark for art is “must agree with me,” the problem isn’t the filmmaker Art doesn’t exist to comfort you or “unify” on your terms & when arguments run out, Nazi comparisons conveniently appear.

This movie is living rent free in their heads. I hope that its immense success coupled with total tanking of that stoopid Dharmendra movie marks a permanent shift away from Aman ki Tamasha scripts in Horduwood.

Hollywood repeatedly makes movies glorifying America’s unnecessary military aggression but India makes 2 movies showcasing how Pakistan’s military-political-terror nexus terrorises Indians and of course, best mate American media has its pants in a twist. Fuck off!

Special mention for Sara Arjun. She has a really small part in Dhurandhar 2 but she hits it out of the park in the scenes she is in. This with Ranveer beside her is no small feat. Look forward to seeing more of her.

People calling 90s and 00s misogynistic trash as pure cinema and Dhurandhar propaganda seriously need to have better taste in cinema.

Patriotism isn’t a checklist where you say I’ve done this so I get to do that. It’s what you do and how you show up for your country everyday to make it better. Aditya Dhar is a filmmaker, he expresses his patriotism through his cinema, your calling it performative is judgemental and hypocritical considering how all the Aman ji Asha mediocrities have been hyped as cinema masterclasses.

Just watched Dhurandhar 2 & all I wanna say is “Revenge ho toh Dhurandhar jaisa ho warna na ho 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥” Direction, Acting, music, editing, story, casting & every other department is MINDBLOWING 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟The first thing mom said after watching the movie was that she wanted to see it again in the Theater with her friends & I feel exactly the same. @AdityaDharFilms you have turned me into a fan girl & I love it.
