@n_aficionado China is the only real competition to USA and as their neighbours, we need to be able to speak, read and write their tongue so we can understand them and counter their threat better. It won’t be possible if we rely on a third language that is neither country’s native tongue.

My parents always used to boil packaged milk, and I used to argue with them that it's pasteurized, so boiling it just kills the nutrition. Cut to 2026. Coliform bacteria basically E. Coli have been found in Amul, Country Delight, and Mother Dairy milk packets. Three brands trusted by millions of families every single day. All three failed bacterial testing. Coliform can cause pneumonia, sepsis, and even UTIs. Turns out my parents were right and I was wrong. Nothing can be trusted in India anymore.
My mum was blown away by our dishwasher when she visited us in Germany. Once we moved back home, it’s the first thing we bought. For the next month my mum called up everyone she knows & raved about it, encouraging them to buy one too. It now her no. 1 favourite appliance.
The books have finally arrived but look at the state of them! 1 set has a book missing. @crossword_book Now how am I supposed to return this? Your customer service number doesn’t work & your chat bot can only say it’ll call an agent who never turns up.
