I'm excited to learn some Farsi (Persian) to connect with my gf's family and culture, but was surprised to see that Duolingo doesn't offer a course for it, a language spoken by 110 million people worldwide. But good thing they have Klingon and High Valyrian 😅 🫡

@MangoLanguages ?I think a minor correction is needed on Subjunctive page posted 9/18/25 by celine bateman-paris On the List of “C’est / Il est + objective adjectives” , probable should say “ >50% chance”, not “<50% chance” Certainty/doubt of occurrence is a major criteria.

whats the fastest way for me to actually learn to speak french between now and feburary? can't move there. I speak 5 words rn. is it just AI chat apps and a good prompt? is there no product better?

there's an epidemic of fake learning. duolingo, tiktok, youtube. it's all entertainment cleverly disguised as education. real learning is hard. it's uncomfortable. if it feels 'fun', you probably aren't learning anything.
