@DeNickols @otagoth That’s an over generalization man. All depends on the studio. There’s been many recent anime’s that have crazy detailed animation without cgi.

@Cliffvertical @otagoth That was in 2015. The anime industry is not in the same place it was 10 years ago. Modern animators have gotten too comfortable using CG anytime a design is too complex.

Damn, what happened to the animation quality of One Punch Man? Just watching the anatomy is making my eye twitch.

@otagoth Basically the manga's artstyle is too detailed to work well in animation so almost no studio was willing to tackle it. Same issue Berserk ran into.
