Here's my thoughts on the Avatar game now that the beta is over. 1-10? I give it a 8. The stuff I didn't like, for instance not having a rank system or a tutorial/combo trail etc I didn't count into my rating due to the fact it was a beta. The only thing I REALLY didn't like is that there is no air blocking and the air movement (not counting azula) is limited for me it has a street fighter feel in the regard which I am not a fan of it makes the game feel slow I like my high speed fighters/melty blood movement. I also didn't like HOW OP azula was but I guess there will always be a character like that in any game and this time it just happened to be azula. In my experience she was literally the most picked player and just running shop which made the game feel homogenized with an already limited cast. but picking up the game and playing was definitely fun, I played every character on the cast and each felt unique, no one character played the same which was nice and it felt like everyone had there own unique bullshit that could be viable at a high level once mastered. I started hard playing toph early on but towards the end I landed on Aang and when it officially releases I will be maining him. What did y'all think of the beta?

@SonicFox Idk bout that, the only thing that's like mk11 to me is the non stop rolling, and yes it's just as annoying lol except at least u could grab people out of rolls if u read it, this game it's free which is a negative to me

Avatar Legends legitimately feels like an anime fighter take on Mortal Kombat 11 and I'm in love. Has Krushing Blows, no Air Blocking, and you return to neutral quite often. It's really peak.

This take is unhinged. What about this game makes it woke? Cos you're playing as a woman? Bro, she's not taking over as the lead of God of War, this is just her own story that will likely tie into Kratos down the line. Its interesting to explore her story in her own game & it makes sense from a narrative stand point. If she was replacing Kratos then we'd have a big big problem, but she isn't. We gotta stop calling everything woke lol. The issue wasn't that you're playing as a woman. This issue was that you're barely playing at all. It was almost entirely an R2 simulator. They said 20 minutes of gameplay but it was closer to 4 minutes. It looks like they wanted to make a movie instead of a game. It might be good, but I wasn't sold on the "gameplay".
