As someone with Heart Disease who has a SICD fitted I'm disgusted with how I've just been treated in @Tesco Wolverhampton. Having a defib in my chest means there's a risk of it going off and putting me into cardiac arrest when going through the security panels at the entrance/exit. Since having it done I walk slightly faster than normal through them as it's a worry ( I've had it fitted for 3 months so still getting used to it ). Walking through this morning, I got stopped by security with the worst attitude ever. I was being treated and spoken to like scum and he wasn't letting me explain why I was walking faster than average. Every time I tried to tell him why, and show him my ICD card he kept interrupting me, acting like he'd just caught the leader of the cartel. I eventually got to explain to then have him change his story and say because the trolley locked up. After a lot of back and forth we had our receipts checked which shows we paid and further shows the trolley never locked. I understand people steal every day from supermarkets but to be treated the way I was, spoken to the way I was and having to show him my physical scar and implant was so degrading and belittling. If he just approached and spoke, listened to what i had to say and go from there it wouldn't be an issue but I'll never be going back again.
