@marienettist I love my pint-sized Kindle reader because it's light-weight, easy to hold for long periods of time. My iPad is too heavy for extending reading.

My husband told me last night he wants to buy a Kindle because when he tries to read on his phone he's distracted by TikTok and other apps 😂 Any tips on which one to get + necessary accessories? It's rare for this man to want something so I'm jumping at this chance to gift it!

So, cover issues. Employing someone is not an option atm. The excuses/distractions have been coming for almost a year (the cover being one), so do you think a temporary cover (e.g. like one of below) will do ?

Book 3 is flowing along beautifully. I am in love with this story and these characters. I can't wait to find out what unfolds today.

I’ll be honest I think this whole fixation on the opening-line-needs-to-be-the-best-line-ever is overrated. Yeah it helps to have a cracking opener . But as a reader I always give a book 10-15 pages before passing judgement 🤷‍♀️ #WritingCommunity
