@VitalVegas I’ll take a male server who actually comes by my table more than once an hour as opposed to a female server who disappears for stretches at a time.
But who are we kidding? The level of eye candy you’re getting is typically very suspect anyway so just give me my drink.

Most Vegas casinos still staff cocktail servers as female due to tradition and image. But this is informal, not legally authorized. No casino-specific exemption exists, so the practice remains vulnerable to discrimination claims but nobody talks about it. (3/3)

Avoid the rabbit hole of why casinos can make cocktail server jobs female-only. They can’t, at least not legally. Federal and Nevada law prohibit sex discrimination in hiring. The narrow “BFOQ” exception doesn’t apply because gender isn’t essential to serving drinks. (1/3)
