Do you know that 80% of Indians retire with zero passive income? It sounds harsh, but this is the reality most of us were never told. We grew up hearing, 'Study well, get a stable job, save money, and everything will be sorted.' But here’s the part no one explained. 📊 Inflation in India grows at around 6% every year, while your savings account gives barely 3–4%. Which means your money is quietly losing value every single day. 📊 74% of working Indians save less than 15% of their income for retirement. And a majority are not confident their savings will be enough. 📊 We spend 30–40 years working… but never build income that works without us. Your salary stops when you stop. Passive income doesn’t. So what actually works? 👇 Step 1: Don’t just save, start investing smartly Step 2: Understand how money actually compounds Step 3: Create systems that generate income without your time Step 4: Stay consistent, not emotional Step 5: Give time for compounding to do its magic 🎯 This is exactly what I teach inside my full course: A step-by-step system to build real passive income through the right investing approach. If you’re a working professional who wants to take control of your money 👇 Comment “PASSIVE” and I will send you the details in DM. #stockmarket #investing #finance #technofunda #keepcompounding

Nice to see 2 #maximisepf co’s come in the news positively on the same day. 1) GPIL now has all required permissions to scale it’s business 2) Edelweiss does another stake sale to a hyper growing PE. More debt reduction + strong partner who will help grow the company + reduce cost of capital.

@KPTrafficDept @MamataOfficial @CPKolkata Vehicles with beacon are a menace on Maa flyover. Driving recklessly should be heavily penalized. When our CM can go around the city without a beacon then why any privilege to others. Today high speed driving on Ma flyover at 3.40pm 0001

It’s strange. Indians are going to Davos to meet Indians. State governments are signing agreements with Indian companies in Switzerland which they could have done in India. CMs are meeting CMs in Davos. It’s criminal waste of money. If they had signed agreements with foreign companies there I would have understood. #WEF2026

An Open Letter to Lionel #Messi Dear Leo, #Kolkata is known for many things, but above all, this city breathes football. Here, football is not a sport that begins at kick-off and ends at the final whistle. It is a pulse. A habit. A faith passed from one generation to the next. This is the city that has always lived between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan, where rivalries divide homes but football unites souls. When people gather at stadiums, they cheer for their teams…but every cheer is larger than the match itself. Every chant, every tear, every hoarse throat has kept football alive in this city for decades. Even when trophies were scarce, even when glory felt distant, Kolkata never stopped believing. In the narrow gullies of this city, in dusty grounds tucked between buildings, a little child dribbles a ball barefoot. He knows he may never play at the highest level. He knows he may never reach where you have reached. And yet, he wears your jersey. Not because he dreams of fame, but because you taught him how to dream. That is not passion. That is absolute surrender to an emotion. On 18 December 2022, when you lifted the World Cup, Kolkata did not sleep. The city erupted into joy that night. People poured onto the streets wearing your jersey, waving flags, shouting your name into the sky - hoping, somehow, their voices would travel across oceans and reach you. That night, Leo, Kolkata celebrated as if one of its own had finally come home. And yet, when you came to this city, you did not see any of that. Today, when you arrived, there was chaos. Confusion. Mismanagement. Faults of a few that thousands of fans ended up paying for. You left, and hearts broke quietly. The disappointment was not because you didn’t stay but because you couldn’t see us the way we truly are. Now you are in #Hyderabad. And as we see the warmth, the order, the celebration there, the feeling grows heavier. Not out of envy but out of grief for what we missed. For what you missed. Those who built walls between you and the people should be sidelined. But the love should not be unseen. Leo, Kolkata is not perfect. But it is honest. It loves fiercely. It loves forever. This city does not ask for much - only a moment, a glance, a chance to show you what you mean to us. To let you see the streets that once ran wild for you, the children who still wear your name on their backs, the city that once shouted itself hoarse just for you. Please come back. Not for an event. Not for an appearance. But to feel the love…raw, imperfect, and real. Come back, Leo. Kolkata is waiting. With hope, regret, and endless love, Someone from the city that breathes football, yet sad tonight ! #MessiInKolkata #MessiInIndia

I am deeply disturbed and shocked by the mismanagement witnessed today at Salt Lake Stadium. I was on my way to the stadium to attend the event along with thousands of sports lovers and fans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of their favourite footballer, Lionel Messi. I sincerely apologise to Lionel Messi, as well as to all sports lovers and his fans, for the unfortunate incident. I am constituting an enquiry committee under the chairmanship of Justice (Retd.) Ashim Kumar Ray, with the Chief Secretary and the Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Hill Affairs Department, as members. The committee will conduct a detailed enquiry into the incident, fix responsibility, and recommend measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. Once again, I extend my heartfelt apologies to all sports lovers.
