A memory: when I profiled Jim Henson years ago, he brought out Kermit. Our engineer, the great Manoli Wetherell, naturally put her mic under Kermit’s moving mouth. Jim kept motioning with his eyebrows to move the mic under his mouth. Wonderful memory.

@NigelsNo1 If you are trying to disparage the person whose hands M embraced, and addressed by name with a welcoming smile, well I disagree. I think your type of behavior is like a guy digging a hole under the next person so he can look taller. It is not a good look.

@ManoliW @NigelsNo1 No one told me, I was there. No vested interest as far as I can tell for the rest, just clocking what a few people think of as slightly disturbing behavior.

@emorgz23 @NigelsNo1 I wonder why he didn't say anything. And also why any of the people who heard him say it did not say anything to them. Instead they are declared a stalker, and a creep. When I hear "stalker" I imagine someone hiding in the bushes, or , hangs around hotel lobbies, etc. Not cons.

@emorgz23 @NigelsNo1 #2 - I imagine you are frustrated by my response. I fear someone could be telling lies. Has anyone with a name come forward? I have not heard that. I've been in too many war zones to believe rumors. No disrespect to you intended, at all.

@ManoliW @NigelsNo1 It wasn’t in a good way. It’s also not a rush judgment because it’s happened at the last few conventions. Not a good look.

@emorgz23 @NigelsNo1 if someone can afford to go to many cons and get many autographs -and paying for them- that is still not stalking. If Mads commented - was he saying it with humor and pride, or complaint? There is just a very wide chasm between those responses. I mistrust rush judgements.

@ManoliW @NigelsNo1 Did you see the comment where Mads is noticing and making comments to others about it? Not everyone’s intent is the same, even if they all show up at the same conventions every time.

@FrankConniff So sorry. We give them our hears, and they take them. But we wouldn't have any other way.

So sad to report that Millie has made the journey to the other side. She was not recovering from her kidney disease and she was suffering so I had to make a hard decision. I will miss her forever. My favorite thing about her was that she was the fucking best.
