To summarize, Anita Sarkeesian is basically admitting that: 1. Her ideas cannot win a debate on their own merits. 2. She and other leftists play word games to trick people "on the fence" into supporting them. 3. The Floydmageddon of 2020 was a huge boon to her and the Left.
Alex "The Hatman" Baldwin@TheHat2

Here is the clip. Sarkeesian is responding to a question about what her biggest challenges are in trying to "shift the greater culture in games" and ending abuse and harassment. This is her complete answer to that question. No clipping, no edits, nothing out of context.

I feel like it's a dangerous rabbit hole of nostalgia but I've found myself watching those channels on freeview that have old shows and movies. Quite addictive.

This is a superb piece by @Madz_Grant. Weirdly, it touches on a theme I have been talking a lot about recently. A great deal of 1990s television was the last moment when inherited British middle and upper middle class culture could appear on screen without apology. Two Fat Ladies, Food and Drink, Keith Floyd, Lovejoy, Inspector Morse, Jancis Robinson's Wine Course, A Year in Provence, Jeeves and Wooster, older Countryfile, and parts of Antiques Roadshow carried assumptions that are now much weaker in British broadcasting. With its unapologetic emphasis on meat, dairy and a motorbike roaring through the British countryside, Two Fat Ladies would not merely be considered unfashionable today. It would be judged as being fundamentally incompatible with the moral priorities of Net Zero by 2050! I wouldn’t blame New Labour entirely, because some of these programmes were still being made in the 2000s. But I do blame the Conservatives for failing to conserve the cultural inheritance they claimed to value. They did not do enough to challenge the 1997 settlement. Indeed, they turbocharged it. That is why these programmes feel so strange now when you watch them on YouTube. They captured a country that still had a coherent sense of itself. spectator.com/article/the-gl…

Was never keen on watching one of them kneading doughy mixtures whilst still wearing jewellery. I spent 5 years in a jewellers shop cleaning ladies rings and bracelets, the stuff that came out of the ultrasonic bath was revolting.

Thinking about the quote “We only have to be lucky once—you need to be lucky every time” which sounds badass until you remember this was said about Margaret Thatcher who notably got lucky every time and died at 87 of natural causes.

If one is blocked by coonly drikpy, what is the implication?
CJ@UnderSneege

In the BBC comedy Red Dwarf, the crew encounter an artificial life form which is, unknown to them, made up of all the inhabitants of its ship. Legion. Legion, keeps them prisoner to sustain his own existence. At one stage, Lister hatches an escape plan based on a film called Revenge of the Surfboarding Killer Bikini Vampire Girls which he assumes will succeed because no one else in the universe will have seen it. It fails as Legion, “benefitting” from Lister’s intelligence, knows of that plan too. During the brief scuffle, Legion's face-plate falls away to show his face is a composite of all four of his prisoners (with Lister's contribution disappearing during a brief instance of unconsciousness). I am of the opinion that @kunley_drukpa is Legion. He knows exactly as much as we know collectively. No more, no less. In the days of the early internet one assumes Kunley could manifest >160 IQ insight into matters of technology. However, as the world has come online the breadth of cultural understanding has skyrocketed alongside a tragic collapse in intelligence. The Eternal September. If my hypothesis is correct then BILLIONS must be disconnected from internet.

@MantReturns @KaiserLoengramm Yea I think the English meals, when well cooked are very good. The problem is that to do them well it is usually found in expensive pubs or restaurants. You don't find those English meals available on take away on uber eats. Instead we get foreign slop.

I have quite an odd origin story for being an Anglophile, which is that I first fell in love with British cooking. I had heard so often the stereotype of it being terrible, so I went to an English pub and actually tried the stuff. I found it phenomenal and fitting to my palette. It really is quite great. Bangers and mash, beef Wellington, shepherds pie, meat pies, yes even things like beans on toast are all great, hearty food that is honestly my favorite cuisine. My favorite breakfast of all is a full English, with black pudding and all, alongside a cup of English breakfast tea with a splash of milk. I am actually of the belief that this particular stereotype was actually crafted specifically to facilitate mass replacement migration, to build false pretenses that the native ethnic foods and culture of European peoples were simply inferior to nons, when that could not be further from the truth.

@MantReturns @KaiserLoengramm I don’t get it, I’ve been to Paris, New York, Barcelona, Cannes to name a few and had incredible meals and absolutely dog shit meals in the same place. There being bad restaurants ≠ bad cuisine.

Something I dislike intensely is how, when it's "time" to say something unpleasant about Britain and the British, even members of the "right" gloat about the grooming gangs ("you can't even protect your own women," "cucks," etc.). The truth is, there are grooming gangs across the West--you just haven't heard anything about them, because they've also largely been covered up. This story is from Austria, but there are similar reports from Australia, and you can bet there are grooming gangs in Canada, France, Germany, Scandinavia and, yes, the US as well. This is not some uniquely British problem.
Remix News & Views@RMXnews

🇦🇹🔴Arabs in Austria are creating UK-style grooming gangs targeting underage girls and turning them into sex slaves. In many cases, the girls are ending up dead. A psychiatrist who has worked with these underage prostitute victims says the girls give the same story: "They were approached at Salzburg Main Station by young men of Arabic origin." They are recruited with drugs, hooked on them, and then forced to perform sex with clients while being filmed for blackmail material. "Under severe drug influence, they would then often be sexually abused." Girls as young as 12 are being targeted, and it is not just the city of Salzburg. 🔺In 2025, 7 minors died from drug overdoses, just in the city of Vienna. 🔺In recent weeks, three girls between ages 13 and 16, have suffered drug overdoses in the city of Innsbruck. Most of these girls are recruited from rural Austrian towns, where there are still young White girls available to recruit. The victims are then transported to bigger cities like Vienna, where they rent out apartments and sell the girls to Johns and gang r*ped by Arab men.
