Her recent public appearances often feature mismatched layers, oversized or ill-fitting garments, casual sneakers …an overall rumpled vibe. Yuck!

I think so too, because I can name multiple albums that don’t have any big love but still culturally relevant

Gallo still has a cult following obviously, I think you and I just have different definitions of cultural relevance.

Filmmakers Josh Safdie, Claire Denis, Werner Herzog, John Waters, Jean-Luc Godard, and David Lowery all praised it. And even the author of Chainsaw Man referenced it and said it’s a favorite

@MantaRayDavies I can figure it out as I go along together with the client, with help of someone who knows more than me. So tldr feeling stumped but curious and willing to learn something new is fun. But feeling dumb in the sense of self denigration is not fun. Sorry for the initial mislead!

One really good thing from going to grad school was finding out that I wasn't hot shit, despite whatever academic accomplishments I had as a kid. My peers were cranking out crazily well received papers while I could barely make it through readings without being reduced to tears.

@FeistyKittyPie what about feeling dumb do you enjoy? i've always struggled with getting over this feeling to this day and i wish i could frame it this way but i always end up reacting badly if the feeling lingers for too long...

I still feel dumb everyday and I actually enjoy it a little now, especially during supervision. It keeps me grounded. Why am I writing this self indulgent little novella? I think because I hope people feeling stupid in training or outside of it don't give up so fast.
