@CollowWillie @Boola_vogue My memory as an 8 year old was that not all the goals were shown on Sportscene that night. I’ve still not seen all the goals on line

“Why don’t you support your local team?” I was gifted this rare Celtic book by author Brian McAuley last week in Musselburgh. The East is Green - well worth checking it out if you can find a copy.

Bobby Lennox at the old Brockville in 1970. No more Brockville, Muirton Park, Shawfield, Boghead, Love Street, Broomfield, these days. Sad.

A bit late in posting but what a night in Stuttgart. This was the first ever away win on mainland Europe that I’ve attended. A wonderful atmosphere. “This is the day” for 20 minutes at the end. Magic.

Murdo MacLeod could still be considered to Easter Road, but he will not be risked for tonight’s match, which kicks off at 7pm.

Danny McGrain testimonial prices from 1980. I was in the main stand that night near the dug out which was very unusual.

Why I've come home by Frank McGarvey in March 1980. Hard to describe how exciting a signing this was. Scottish record fee of £250,000 when the British record stood at £1.4m for Andy Gray to Wolves,
