The thing that Spurs fans do not fundamentally get is that football is about your own journey, your own story, not Arsenal's, not City's, not anybody else's. No UCL for Tottenham, reducing financial firepower & pull for a season where Newcastle, United, Chelsea are all hoping to be back. It is very likely that the above 3 are strongly back next season, United with their abundance just need decent football structure. Newcastle are a super oil project. Chelsea have the youngest & most expensively assembled squad playing together for the first time. It is very possible that this is the last window that Tottenham get at UCL football for the next cycle of 5 years. Ange would have to squeeze everything to improve this team relative to the competition around him. And the Kane money is already gone. Unfortunately, all of this has just gone over their heads.
